This branch currently seems an almost adequate replacement for gtk2 claws-mail,
except that clicking links in the web view opens them in the email window even
when "open links with external browser" is enabled.

MailMover: many fixes
Previously, MailMover didn't properly preserve flags when renaming files, and
moved all mail to `cur`. This was fixed. Also, MailMover gained a test suite.
New filters: PropagateTags[ByRegex]InThreadFilter
These filters allow propagating tags set to a message to the whole thread.
New command line argument: --notmuch-args= in move mode
In move mode, afew calls `notmuch new` after moving mails around. This
prevents `afew -m` from being used in a pre-new hook in `notmuch`.
Now it's possible to specify notmuch args, so something like `afew -m
--notmuch-args=--no-hooks` can live happily in a pre-new hook.
Python 3.4 and 3.5 support dropped
afew stopped supporting the older python versions 3.4 and 3.5, and removed
some more Python 2 compatibility code. (`from __future__ import …`, utf-8
headers, relative imports, …)
Naive concatenation of $LD_LIBRARY_PATH can result in an empty
colon-delimited segment; this tells glibc to load libraries from the
current directory, which is definitely wrong, and may be a security
vulnerability if the current directory is untrusted. (See #67234, for
example.) Fix this throughout the tree.

This is a large scale rework of the package, here's a change summary:
* Organized inputs (1/line, except conditionals)
* Introduced alsaSupport, pulseaudioSupport, waylandSupport
* enableGTK3 -> gtk3Support
* enableCalendar -> calendarSupport
* Organized buildInputs, nativeBuildInputs (1/line)
* Corrected native/buildInputs separation
* Ported over fixes/changes from Firefox
* Enabled sound, webp, vpx, rust-SIMD, necko-wifi
* Removed manual wrapping
* Lifted makeDesktopItem out of string section, into Nix
* Correctly set bindgen options
* Added lovesegfault as maintainer
* New url which uses https
This is non-authoritative, look at the diff for further info.
I haven't been doing any maintenance for a long time now and not only
do I get notified, it also creates a fake impression that all these
packages had at least one maintainer when in practice they had none.
- bump version
- build with notmuch support
- substitute @SHAREDIR@ in aerc.conf for the `template-dirs` key
- place ncurses instead of ncurses.dev in PATH (cannot find infocmp otherwise)
According to Neomutt's autocrypt manual
<https://neomutt.org/guide/autocryptdoc.html>, autocrypt needs to be
enabled in the `configureFlags` and `sqlite` is a new dependency.
Before this patch, notmuch-emacs-mua would try to call emacs in PATH,
which would obviously fail on systems with no emacs. This fixes that,
while still keeping the capability to override your emacs' path.
There ver very many conflicts, basically all due to
name -> pname+version. Fortunately, almost everything was auto-resolved
by kdiff3, and for now I just fixed up a couple evaluation problems,
as verified by the tarball job. There might be some fallback to these
conflicts, but I believe it should be minimal.
Hydra nixpkgs: ?compare=1538299
The TUI library aerc uses, tcell, comes with a built-in database of
terminal definitions. For terminals not in this database (e.g.
Alacritty), an entry is generated dynamically using infocmp, part of
ncurses' dev output.
upstream unmaintained, doesn't build with openssl 1.1 and no recent
changes in nixpkgs, alpine from which this was forked seems to be
maintained and a superior choice.
Since Oct 14, 2017 we warned users still executing `neomutt`
through the `mutt` binary, so we can assume everybody read the notice,
updated his config, and can drop the wrapper.
Whenever we create scripts that are installed to $out, we must use runtimeShell
in order to get the shell that can be executed on the machine we create the
package for. This is relevant for cross-compiling. The only use case for
stdenv.shell are scripts that are executed as part of the build system.
Usages in checkPhase are borderline however to decrease the likelyhood
of people copying the wrong examples, I decided to use runtimeShell as well.
The original issue can be reproduced when sending with an unpatched
`mutt` or `neomutt` an email with an attachement which as han `.asc`
extension. This will be interpreted as `application/pgp-encrypted` which
experiences special logic, in the end the attachement will contain
"Version: 1"[1][2][3]
Right now, there are the following issues in the {,neo}mutt packages:
* `mutt.override { smimeSupport = true }` fails to build since the
Debian patch results in a 404. Debian moved their packages to
`salsa.debian.org`.
However we can't use a versioned URL for this as Debian only tracks
the Mutt versions that are available in their releases. The patch
doesn't touch Mutt's core and is therefore simple to rebase, so
sticking to the 1.10.2 patch for now should be sufficient.
* The original issue was never fixed in NeoMutt, currently we use the
S/MIME database from `pkgs.mime-types` which contains the issue with
`application/pgp-encrypted` as well.
After some discussion[4] it seems to be the best decision to use the
`mailcap` database distributed by Fedora[5] which fixes the issue
rather than `mime-types` v9 from 2012.

In a few cases it wasn't clear so I left them as-is.
While visiting these moved other things to nativeBuildInputs
when it was clear they were one of these cases:
* makeWrapper
* archive utilities (in order to unpack src)
* a few of these might no longer be needed but leaving for another day
Couple of things were updated to make this work.
1. webkitgtk24x-gtk3 that is marked unsafe has been replaced with
webkitgtk (2.20.*) as astroid has recently indicated that [>= 2.20
is
acceptable](48ce7e3010)
2. protobuf built input was added to satisfy requirements
3. astroid was not functional at all without proper icons so gnome3.defaultIconTheme
were added to buildInputs
4. By default, astroid will use `gvim` as a setting for the embedded
editor, however that didn't work well with nixpkgs. vim is now
bundled with astroid by default. This setting can be overridden
by the user in astroid's config file.
This makes the command ‘nix-env -qa -f. --arg config '{skipAliases =
true;}'’ work in Nixpkgs.

This is necessary because the standard library which is distributed with
lumail (the lumail core configuration so to speak) is written for lua5.1
apparently.
The website states 5.1 or 5.2 or 5.3, but 5.2 fails because "loadstring"
was deprecated in lua 5.2.

This version bump contains the following fixes:
v8:
- Avoid a segmentation fault when notmuch_message_get_header() returns NULL. (Patch by Víctor M. Jáquez <vjaquez@igalia.com>).
v9:
- Do not use the deprecated notmuch_query_count_messages_st function when using Notmuch 0.25. (Patch by Adam Ruzicka <a.ruzicka@outlook.com>.)
We already had this patch in our tree.
- Fix crash in when running queries and the program is build with Notmuch 0.25. (Patch by Joshua Krusell <joshua.krusell@v-dem.net>).
- Fix conditional compilation when using Notmuch 0.25. (Patch by David Bremner <bremner@debian.org>).
Adaptation of #23058 by @spinus to 1.0.0rc1. See #23058 and #28111 for discussion.
This patch keeps the warnings. But I think it is useful to have a sanely working
version in nixpkgs, even if it is still considered insecure, just to follow the
upstream development by actually running it instead of reading the log.
it's an application, not a python module
